Job Description
We are an emerging business specialising in the development of Agentic AI Agents and Software Solutions for a range of small to medium sized businesses. Our Information Technology division is at the forefront of innovation, developing intelligent solutions that optimise business operations, enhance safety, and drive digital transformation.
We’re looking for a hands-on AI/ML Engineer who’s excited about building smart, autonomous systems. You’ll be part of a collaborative team working on agentic AI—systems that can reason, plan, and act independently. If you’ve been working with machine learning and are eager to push into more dynamic, interactive AI systems (think tool-using LLMs, smart task agents, or AI assistants), this is your chance.
This role will give you the opportunity to grow your engineering skills while learning how to build next-gen AI agents powered by language models, reinforcement learning, and modern agentic frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and deploy ML models that power autonomous or semi-autonomous agents.
- Assist in designing intelligent agents using frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGPT.
- Contribute to the development of AI pipelines including data preprocessing, model evaluation, and inference.
- Work with senior engineers and researchers to integrate AI capabilities into production systems.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across the ML and backend stack.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and collaborative problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in software engineering, data science, or AI/ML roles.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning models in real-world applications.
- Understanding of key AI concepts such as classification, regression, embeddings, transformers, or LLMs.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, version control (Git), and agile development practices.
- Strong analytical skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn fast.
Bonus Skills (Not Required but Great to Have)
- Exposure to agentic AI tools (LangChain, ReAct, AutoGPT, CrewAI, etc.).
- Experience working with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS).
- Understanding of prompt engineering or LLM orchestration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) or container tools (Docker).
